Seoul Fashion Week Spring 2017 shows are over and I enjoyed seeing many Korean fashion designers aiming to take their brand to the global stage. SFW has grown over the last six years and international fashion influencers and buyers are taking notice.

Seoul wants to compete with Paris, New York and London Fashion Weeks and although they are still working out some kinks, they are definitely on their way. Time will tell how they manage to, here are some of the highlights:

The Seoul Fashion & Design Network designers debuted their new collection while raising awareness for the environment and community. KYE is a Korean independent designer who debuted her urban chic collection that is on trend with Seoul’s young fashion forward crowd. She most recently was listed as a winner of Elle Magazines “Fashion Now” global initiative to spotlight emerging designer talent worldwide.
