I Started my doctoral journey at Purdue University in May 2022.
I am working on a Doctor of Technology degree and my academic research is in emerging technologies including Web3, the Metaverse and AI in the luxury fashion and TV|Film entertainment industries.
First Semester
This summer I started working on my independent research project with my major professor. In doctoral programs, students must select a major professor who will chair the committee during the dissertation process. I was happy to have found mine early. I am also taking a research and data analytics course to accompany the work I am doing for my project, and I will have completed my first semester next month.
It’s been some years since I finished my master’s degrees from the University of Florida and The University de Lille 1 (France), so luckily for me, I have found jumping back into student mode not too challenging.
