This year was the first time that I went to the #conext 2015 in France. It is an international conference that aims is to improve the performance of commerce and retail players and find solutions to increase business development. It was really interesting and I liked LaRedoute, a French retailer that used innovative technology to connect their customers to their products.
La Redoute used some new technology that they showcased at the conference. They had a new machine that allowed the customers to scan a pink band that they give you and create a profile in the system. Once you create the profile, then you choose an item and scan the tag and it stores it in the system. That way you could buy it online later if you weren’t ready to purchase it at the moment.
